Take a look at some of the vegetables we have harvested so far this season…

Though this season brought us some major heat and we lost a lot of lettuce mid-way through the season, the early harvests of lettuce were beautiful.

The cabbage did great, again until the heat and rain hit. We were able to get a decent harvest from our cabbage this year!

Our hot peppers are doing amazing- loving the heat! We have planted Cherry Bomb peppers (see above), as well as Jalapeño peppers. If you enjoy spicy foods, use the Cherry Bomb peppers over the Jalapeño peppers.

The heat has been a blessing for some of our crops. The tomatoes, yellow squash and cucumbers are LOVING this weather, and producing some really amazing fruit mid-season!

Pictured above is one day of our potato harvest. Though it was hot, and really labor intensive, we were able to pull through and harvest some of our potatoes. This years crop is one of the most abundant compared to earlier seasons.

The potato digger machine that we are using digs into the ground, the soil and potatoes ride up on a chain where the dirt is shook off and the potatoes are dropped on top of the soil… easy to see and pick up

Like stated earlier, our pepper crop is doing great. Our bell peppers (green bell, lilac bell, and sunshine peppers) are proving to be an amazing crop this year.
